Read the table. Play your game. Own every hand.
TGL Poker is a free, no-install, browser-based No-Limit Texas Hold'em cash game. You sit at seat 0 of a 6-handed table; five deterministic AI bots — each running a distinct strategy archetype — fill the other seats. You buy in for $1,000 at $5 / $10 blinds and play hands until you cash out, bust, or hit the hand cap. Your final stack is your leaderboard score. No real money, no purchases, no payment processor anywhere on the site.
Classic poker. Competitive edge.
Strategize Every Move
Every action by every player is logged with millisecond timing. Your decision is the whole game; we save the receipts.
Bluff With Confidence
The bots play archetypes — figure out who folds to a 3-bet and who calls a station with bottom pair, then exploit them.
Adapt To Any Table
Bot personalities are randomised each run, so the same opening range never works twice. Read fast.
Win Like A Pro
Server-validated chip-stack score, replay-byte-for-byte. The leaderboard is honest.
Five AI personalities
Five distinct archetypes, exactly one of each per run. Order is randomised at run-start. Each archetype's parameters and the version of the AI engine in use are recorded on the run row so old replays still validate after AI tuning.
| Archetype | Calls | Raises | Open-raises | Bluffs | How to beat them |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TAG (Tight Reg) | tight | tight | tight | low | Steal blinds; fold to their 3-bets unless you have it. |
| Calling Station | very loose | tight | medium | none | Value-bet thin; never bluff this seat. |
| LAG (Loose-Agg) | medium | loose | loose | high | Trap them. Slow-play strong; raise their c-bet light. |
| Maniac | very loose | very loose | very loose | very high | Wait for it. Flat with monsters; let them barrel. |
| Rock (Solid Pro) | balanced | balanced | balanced | low | Treat their raises seriously. Pick spots; don't level yourself. |
Rules
- No-Limit Texas Hold'em, cash-game style.
- 6 seats. You're seat 0; five AI bots at seats 1–5.
- $5 / $10 blinds, $1,000 starting stack each seat. No ante, no straddle.
- Standard NLHE betting (check / call / bet / raise / fold).
- Dealer button rotates clockwise; SB / BB are next two clockwise. Heads-up uses SB-on-button.
- Standard hand ranking; ace high or low for the wheel; ties split chip-by-chip with the odd chip going to the seat first clockwise from the button.
- Busted seats sit out; the table plays short (no bot top-ups in v1).
- Player cannot rebuy; $0 ends the run.
End conditions
cashout— voluntary stop between hands. Final stack = leaderboard score.busted— stack hit zero.max_hands— 100-hand cap reached.chip_cap— $100,000 chip cap reached (capped at submit).table_dead— every bot busted; you win by attrition.
Fair play / anti-cheat
TGL Poker is fully replay-validated:
- Mulberry32 PRNG, identical JS / PHP, drives the deck order + every AI decision.
- The full move log captures every action by every player, every deal, and the millisecond timing of each action.
- The server replays the entire run from
(seed, move_log)byte-for-byte and rejects any client whose final stack doesn't match the simulator. - AI version is stamped on the run so old runs still validate after AI tuning.
- Per-seat track stats and per-archetype filters surface in your in-drawer stats panel.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: click action buttons (Check / Call / Bet / Raise / Fold). Bet sizing via a chip slider with preset chips (½, ¾, pot, all-in).
- Keyboard: C = check / call · F = fold · B = bet / raise (digits set the amount, Enter confirms) · A = all-in. Cash Out button always available between hands.
Known v1 limitations
Side-pots are simplified — an all-in short-stack receives only what they contributed × callers, but pot calculation collapses to a single main pot to keep replay tractable. Run-it-twice, insurance, rabbit-hunt, straddles, ante, bomb pots, mid-run rebuy, rake, and chat are deferred to a follow-up. Multiplayer (play vs. friends) is on the roadmap.
